FOL-TECH GmbH & Co. KG has been in existence for 25 years and has built up a solid reputation during this time. The technology of membrane keypads was significantly advanced by founder Hans Georg Schütz, who has been involved in the development and manufacture of membrane keypads since the 1980s. His many years of experience and extensive know-how have helped the company achieve considerable success and a broad, satisfied customer base.
As core areas, FOL-TECH GmbH & Co. KG has specialized in the development of membrane keypads, the creation of prototypes and small series, as well as the series production of front overlays and keypads of all kinds. In addition, the portfolio is supplemented by the assembly of electronic and electromechanical modules and the preparation of electrical components. These diverse competencies have contributed to the fact that FOL-TECH GmbH & Co. KG is now one of the leading German quality manufacturers of membrane keypads.
In 2020, an important step was taken for the company when founder Hans Georg Schütz retired from the management. The company is now run by his son Alexander and his wife Ulrike Schütz, with the high-quality production of membrane keypads still at the heart of the daily business. In the past 25 years, FOL-TECH GmbH & Co. KG has expanded its customer base both regionally and internationally and has established itself as a sought-after address in the industry.

Front overlays and membrane keypads with IP protection classes are used in a variety of applications. In industry, they are often used in control systems, measuring instruments, machines and industrial control panels, where protection against dust and moisture is particularly important. In the medical sector, they are used for medical devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic equipment to ensure a hygienic environment. In addition, front overlays and membrane keypads with IP protection classes are also used in household appliances such as microwaves, washing machines, dishwashers and coffee machines to protect them from dirt and moisture and to enable easy cleaning.
